Traditional forecasts give us information about the expected weather in the next several days. It is impossible to make day-by-day forecasts for more than about a week ahead.Nevertheless it is possible to say something about the most probable mean values of the meteorological elements - temperature, precipitation - during the several following months. That is the goal of seasonal weather forecasts.
